Working the subject....100 creative ways

Well to start off...i'm not going to lie...I was not a huge fan of this project. It took me quite awhile to get my shots and some or most of them did not turn out the way I thought they would. Part of the reason I wasn't a fan was because the subjects I chose did not work the way I wanted them too. I also should have picked a better location to do the assignment in, not in my living room, where the light was not co-operating with me at all. All I have to say is I hope we do not have to post these pics cause I think mine are terrible. I hope the other students had better luck.

Lines Are Everywhere

Well I had alot of fun doing this assignment. There are lines all around us and some of them you don't even see untill you actually look. I went out walking to different places and also found objects in my house that have lots of lines in them. This was a very easy assignment to do, but now everywhere I look from now on i'm sure i'll see lots of lines all the time.

Purple Flowers

This is a picture of some beautiful flowers that I took downtown. My favorite genre of photography would have to be Nature, Landscapes and Action shots. I hope to learn how to capture better people pictures and landscape photos. I've been into photography since I was about 12 and have always loved photographing everything around me. I have just recently realized that this love for photography had to become more than just a hobby. That is why i'm here now :) I hope to learn everything that I possibly can over the year at Prairie View. It's all very exciting to me to be around a group of people who share the same love and compassion for photography. My favorite memory with taking photos would have to be whenever i'm out at my mom's place in the country. It's very quiet and peaceful and my mind just goes blank and let's me focus on what i'm doing. The first two weeks of school has already taught me so much more than I knew...think of what 10 more months will do :) Bring it on!
